Giovanni Soldini and his crew on Maserati broke the Cowes Dinard record earlier this week. Acclaimed yachting photographer, Rick Tomlinson captured these amazing photographs.
“It was hard to keep up in the RIB at 30 knots, even when they are VMG running. Once they turned left at The Needles they were gone”, said Rick.
The new record is 138 miles in 4 hours, 30 minutes and 49 seconds – an average speed of 30,59 knots.
Full credit to PowerPlay Racing finishing in 4 hours, 34 minutes and 6 seconds.
