South African Boat Builders have yet again topped the nominations for the Multihull of the Year awards 2022. The juries from Multihulls World and Multicoques Mag have selected the 2022 nominees for the Multihull of the Year award, and once again SA boat builders feature in the line-up.
The competition is divided into a Sail and a Power category, for boats of various sizes. Multihulls have become popular over the past few years, and the competition between designers and boat builders in this sector has become very stiff. High-performance cats have taken off as the monohull die-hards look for new sailing challenges. This has opened up a whole new category for performance multihulls.

Kinetic 54 built by Kinetic Catamarans
Over 55’: Majestic 570 Fly built by Royal Cape Catamarans
Voting is open till 17th April 2022 – the first Day of the International Multihull Show, and the official results will be announced during this show at La Grande Motte in France.
